Comfortable Reusable Mask Suggestions

Hi all, as above, looking for suggestions on a comfortable reusable mask or even what to avoid.

Particularly something that doesn't move around a lot when talking would be good.

TIA!

I found some okay masks on Ebay that look like:-
    Pennywise
    The Joker
    Hannibal Lechtar

Lots of people remark on them, customers don't treat you. like shit etc
Its a shame they took 2 1/2 weeks to get here care of Aramex.

    • I do like Hannibal Lecter's mask.

I've bought a number of reusable fabric masks and by far the most comfortable in terms of fit and breathability is the Seed Linen Face Mask. I bought it @ DJs.

The style allows more of a structured fit so there is a gap between your mouth and the fabric which means you can speak without the mask moving around plus the adjustable ear loops means you can customise the fit.

I purchased some of these last week,I like them. Wagner Body Science X HPE Reusable Face Mask Adult Regular 3 Pack https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/104025/wagner-body-s…

  • These (lots of patterns to suit everyone, and fits my small face, and hubby's bigger face):

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B082MDP8FZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_p…

    And these are awesome:

You can't see them under your mask, and they make it much easier to talk and breathe.

    • Does the bracket feel weird?

      • It's a little firmer than squishy silicone, but doesn't feel weird - I can't even realy notice it after a few minutes. It just sits against your face, held in place by the mask.

    • Does the bracket feel like hard plastic or soft silicone?

      • The last photo in the link states that it is soft silicone.

It's not clear how it stays in place although one of the reviewers mentioned that the bracket slides up slightly.

Do not choose the mask that is made of fabric that makes it hard to breathe.

Do not choose masks that have exhalation valves that allow virus particles to escape.

    • Not sure what you mean by "Do not choose the mask that is made of fabric that makes it hard to breathe".
      The masks are all fabric…

    • I've been looking at so many masks lately, & was pleasantly surprised to learn that some masks with exhalation valves actually have filters which filter the air that escapes through them too, not just the inhaled air, which I thought was cool. The moral of the story is, not all people with exhale valve masks are inconsiderate, & that it's worthwhile checking if you particularly like a mask but it includes a valve - you might get lucky & find one of the ones with a filter.

  • Just go to platypus stores. I got 2 mask (on sale) and both are nice! I bought a 3 pack for chemist warehouse was the worst looked like a birds bek! Go platypus for sure

  • Are there any trusted washables masks that will take a P2/P2.5 single-use filter?

I see a lot of them on ebay/amazon etc, but the design doesnt look like the filter covers the entire face, not without gaps.

    Or

what's the best reusable mask? I understand they won't the medial grade. Any proven ones out there that stand out when it comes to blocking incoming viral particles?

Just wanted to report back in case it helped anyone else.
We ended up going the UNIQLO Airism masks, medium for me & extra large for hubby.
Can confirm that they're very comfortable and soft. They're able to be worn whilst talking and not move around.
All in all, really happy with them and thank you everyone for your input.
