Not posting it as a deal as it may or may not be a "deal" depending how you value your QF points but considering I can't really use them right now this worked out well for me, if you apply the rough 100,000 points is roughly worth $1000 then it's a terrible deal, but if you have points to burn and need some NC during home schooling in Sydney this might be handy…..
your name definately checks out…. when you've got close to a million points and no clear option for probably a year or maybe two to use them on international business travel which is when they really pay their way this feels like a reasonable option for someone who actuallly wants the headphones.
If you also check airlines are charging far more in points for flights due to lack of flights who knows how many years before you can do a oneworld around the world bussiness ticket again for for 260,000 points
Yeah, no. This is a shabby deal whichever way you might want to dress it up. Deals are meant to help the OzB community save money, not throw it away.

Qantas points dont expire or go anywhere as long as you add to them or spend some in an 18 month period - there is tons of ways to just add a tiny amount to have the 18 month timer reset - Just leave the points in your account for proper deals or when you can fly again as apposed to just burning them.
