Anyone else unable to pair/connect this to their wifi?
My Mi Home app gets stuck at 'sending message to device' and then fails.
I have tried all sorts of troubleshooting to no avail (reset, change wifi name/password, change region, turn off 4g, etc.)
I’m having same issue. Spent last hour or so resetting and trying to connect to WiFi via Mi Home app
I finally got mine all sorted. Initially I set the region to Australia, and had all sorts of troubles (couldn't load plugins from their API). Changing to Singapore (which it actually recommends) and I was flying.

At that point, try chaning your phone's Wi-Fi to the Xiaomi one, and go back to the app. Did you let it enable the Location Services permission (Android though - not sure about iPhone)?
Yeah i tried all those things and many other things to no avail.
Ended up making a live-boot image of PrimeOS an android distro for PC and then booting to that on my laptop, installed the Mi Home app on google play on the laptop and it worked first try, so it must have been an issue with my phone for some reason.
So we bought this . It Arrived around 4pm
Faulty on arrival . Water pump doesn't work = doesn't mop
The customer service from pcbyte and xiomi has been absolutely despicable . It took me the entire day . To get anything from pcbyte and now they want me to send it back and wait 1-3 weeks for a new one . They wanted an email , Then photos , Then a video . They take hours to respond .Their phones take hours and the staff are not helpful at all , the robot is brand new and broken and I have to jump through hoops to get it sorted . ..
Xiomi still hasn't responded .
I will never deal with Pcbyte again after this .

I bought this for the in-law but want to give it back as they read in the manual not good for carpet. I asked them to ignore it but being a stubborn old !@#$… anyway I have an S6 pure myself, not sure which to unload and sell..

I've had mine 2 months and it's kicked the bucket. Side wheel, main wheel and suction malfunction. It also says ??? abnormal but I can't understand the first word. Warranty will be fun judging by the above comments.
Let us know how you go. I haven't been able to contact them for weeks. They don't answer the phone, nor reply to e-mails.

Thanks, but my understanding is that this form just sends an email to the same email address that I used. They've already contacted me with return instructions after I raised a PayPal dispute.
