  • The radio runs on a plug pack unless you pay extra for the batteries which combined cost is about $80. Ok if you don't plan to take it on the road or to the beach.

  • Please ensure that you listen to this DAB+ radio before purchase. Digital Radio has the potential for great sound, however it can only be as good as the speakers and electronics in the individual model. The lower the price the model you choose, the more likely that you may be disappointed with it. So, listen to this radio and compare it against a higher priced model. This way digital radio will live up to your expectations.

      Mr Sony? Is that you?

  • It's unfortunate most of the DAB+ radio sub $100 still have one speaker and small LCD display. For $40 I think it's still a good price compared to others on the market, but there is plenty of room for improvement. I would prefer to see AA batteries, or some other common size battery C or D, rather than a specially designed battery good for one purpose

    • Do any proper systems (i.e. ones with decent stereo speaks) have DAB+ tuners in them yet? I still find it incredible that these devices have mono sound.

  • so aldi one or pure one?

  • Aldi one seems a better option to me because of the headphone jack.

  • That's quick. Already out of stock… Nvr thought it would be this popular

    • actually it's still available, but it went back to it's regular price
