Has Anyone Bothered with Those Free Screen Protector Replacement Warranties?

Hi, after cleaning out my room I found the box for my Zagg screen protector and noticed that there was this lifetime warranty that claims to replace damaged screen protectors for free (probs include shipping).

I was just curious and wondered if anyone was successful going through this process or should I not bother and just fork out another $40 bucks for another one. (I had enough of cheapo eBay/Aliexpress screen protectors with their lack of oleophobic coating and poor clarity.

Thanks

  • $40 seems excessive if it’s not computer/tv sized.

Not a screen protector but I paid full price for the Otterbox phone cover for my note 10+. The bottom edge thing started to detach and it was getting really annoying to grip, although it was probably due to me pulling on it to get it out of my pocket and stuff but I figured it was so expensive with a "lifetime warranty" for a reason. Sent them a warranty claim form and some pictures and they fedexed me a new cover 😊 phone had a few falls and is still uncracked so pretty worth it I'd say. Just give it a try, no harm either way

Doesn't "lifetime" mean the lifetime of the product, not your personal lifetime? Reasonable lifetime of a premium phone is only about 2-6 years, less if it's a Samsung and updates stop before the third year.

  • I've followed this up with zagg many times.
You have to send the broken one back to them and pay for shipping for the new one.

    • You remember how much?

not really, been a few years, more than half of what the sp cost in the first place

You have to send the broken one back to them and pay for shipping for the new one, since they're us based it's not very cheap.
