Xiaomi Dream V9 Stick Vaccum High Pitched Sound, Burning Smell

Anyone with v9 stick xiaomi dreams have issues with high pitched sound when operating, accompanied by burning smell? Can’t find anything online about this issue.

  Sounds like an electrical issue on the motor. Might be worth a warranty claim.

  Burning? Sounds like it's stuffed to me!
  Can you do a warranty claim?

  Check the filter is cleaned and that the dust bin is properly attached and fully sealed.
  If all otherwise seems in order - stop using it and claim a warranty.

    just over 1 year old, gearbite website says 12 month only.

      still reach out to them and see if they can do something for you.
      check that your credit card doesn't offer something for an extended warranty also, assuming you paid via cc.
