Cheap 2nd Hand Mobile with Extra Bright Screen

I need a cheap phone to use as a drone controller - I want one with a really bright screen (max nits possible). One of the best older phones is the LG G7 Thinq but they are hard to get in Australia. Another candidate is the Galaxy Note 8, a decent one of which can be had for under $250 on eBay.

Any other suggestions? A 7" or 8" tablet would work too.

    Galaxy S8? Can be found cheap on eBay. 1000 nits if the screen is big enough.

    I got a Galaxy Note 8 for about $250 on eBay. Plenty of reviews saying that it has a super bright screen.
