Hey all,
I bought a fire safe from Bunnings but lost one of the two keys. To be safe I wanted to get a few more cut but neither Bunnings or mister Minit can cut it due to length and it being double sided .
Had anyone else had this problem?
Thanks

Ah thanks for that. Its first alert and called their local office. 40 bucks to replace the key.
You can get keys cut to code here: https://www.drlock.com.au/store/key-keys-fancy-old-mortice-r…
Otherwise, they can do it from a photocopy or photo at an additional cost.
Another option is to take it to a locksmith. Good chance they will be able to duplicate it.
go to a real locksmith lol
As a locksmith, I approve this message.
Locksmiths are a scam who hoard their knowledge and get butthurt when others try to teach.
This is about getting the correct blank, that a basic store can't provide. A locksmith is the obvious choice
That's just one step up calling these keys a scam, they are protected by patents that limit the distribution. Nothing technical.

If only you gave us the brand, someone might be able to help you….
