Wish they did a grain free version
The Kirkland Signature salmon meal for dogs and cats are both grain free if that helps - although i have only seen the dog version in ~15kg bags for $68
From my notes, I can see that the holding in-store price for the aforementioned Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Salmon & Sweet Potato Cat Food 8.16kg was $35.99 (17 Feb 2019), then $37.99 (27 April 2020).
So at $38.99 (8 Jul 2021) is pretty good price with delivery.
Can't comment on anything scientifically but my cat eats this stuff practically exclusively and vet always comments on good coat, weight etc. Cat tends to browse through the day and we just top up bowl daily, good poop etc.
Miles cheaper than the usual "premium" brands we'd had him on previously, seems just as happy.
Unlike other cheap "junky" cat foods which he'll eat even more (emptying the bowl) and then be desperate for refills. Then does gloopy whatever-food-colouring-they-added poops that absolutely reek.
