Skype Gift Cards No 50% off Deals?

I been paying for skype world subscription for few years now but to be honest not really used it, more so when my boost allows to make international calls.
I suppose i just wanted to have it also as an option.

I also had the skype number as welll but when i had been renewing this each year there was also either 40% or 50% off skype cards which made it more worth while.
But to be honest im not sure i have seen since discounts on the skype cards for close to a year, unless it's not been on here as a deal.

Maybe it's my time to let the subscription go, to me it made it easier when gift cards was half price, but at full price im not so sure.
I know they sometimes change there subscriptions or prices so one im on if any changes will be gone for good.
Just curious if anyone has seen the skype gift cards on promo lately or since last year as i have not.

    Probably time to let it go. It still seems expensive. Viber offers worldwide unlimited calls for $9.99 which still seems cheaper even than discounted Skype. You can also pay via Apple , so if you manage some cheap iTunes would work out even cheaper

    Yes probably right but i did find the having your own overseas number in a country maybe handy.
    As if someone wanted to call it's like them calling a local number.
    So regardless where i am i could be called on my mobile knowing that person is not paying heaps for that call.
    In general if i think back i never really used both my subscription or own number so wasted money really.

    But when i was getting skype 50% it was sort of worth it then but sure aint now.
    Im not sure if it was a skype promo or a coles/ Woolworths promo but they was very regular through these past years .
    But not seen any since covid started and probably just beyond.

    I think if this promo was still be offered i would have done again this time but it's hit the nail on the coffin for me with no deal.

    There are what's app and others but im sure only gopd if you are using wifi, i not looked at viber.
    Also my sim gives me unlimited calls and txt which helps it's the other side contacting me cheaply that is more important who are not computer or phone savy on stuff.

    If skype was not already struggling then im sure they are worse now as no promo on cards no deal for me.

      What number are you after? Vyke (which is another excellent voip provider) offers USA . Uk, France, Canada or Netherlands $24.99 a year.
