Looking for a basic tablet phone (ie. with SIM card slots) to run simple apps smoothly. No games or anything just productivity and browsing.
Any new models available for my tiny budget? I'm thinking 8”+ screen, 2GB+ RAM, 32GB+ would be nice.

I don't know how much luck you're going to have finding one that's got a sim card slot for data and 8" or more for $120 or less. You might have to go the no-name brands.
If you don't need the SIM and can up your budget a bit, I'd go something like this

I'll be honest and say that I've never used one of the random no-name ones.
Did you read the reviews? It seems to be a bit of a hit and miss.
If I was going for one of those, I'd be prepared to chuck it away if it suddenly stopped working (assuming it works in the first place). If it works beyond that, bonus!Ok thanks. Yeah I did read the reviews but wanted additional opinions here on Ozb.

But no SIM. It's pretty slow to get going but runs okay. Youtube videos are smooth. I only use mine as a DIY stream deck.
