the sale or the chocolate?
I had some of this chocolate just the other day. Hope that answers your question.
i reckon every 6 monhts
For such a high value product, I can understand why you'd want to give it a lot of thought on whether or not this is the right time to pull the trigger…
very high in value for the price
Nah, Chocolatier Coffee & Cream or the salted caramel.
how are these compared to whittaker's?
this much better:
https://www.foodandwine.com/news/aldi-chocolate-taste-testwow interesting…always thought whittaker's is very good, even better than Lindt!
Very good IMO. I alternate between Moser Roth and Whittakers
cool might need to give it a try then :)
My son tells me this ought to taste better than the toilet paper people are eating
$1.59 per 100g
$16 per kilo, hmmmmm
The flavored Moser Roth 'dark' chocolate range contains more sugar than coco. It's only around 40% chocolate with 60% added sugar. I personally think there should be a regulation on what constitutes dark chocolate - at the very least 'dark' should mean that it contains more coco than sugar.
The 85% stuff however I believe contains more coco than sugar, but I personally can't get past the bitter taste of chocolate that dark regardless of brand.
I do like Aldi's homebrand organic range 70% dark chocolate and having that with some raspberries (which are only 6g sugar per cup) makes a great dessert.

It's 85% cocoa. There's only 15% left. It'll be around 13% sugar.
I actually rate the chocolate quite well. You can always use more chocolate.
Anyone know the last time they had this? Last year?
