    An cashback special offers atm?
Hey @dan can I suggest to create new filter on your website to sort by discounts or even better to show member special items only?

    • Shopback seems to do 15%…

      • But it tracked at less than 3% for some reason

        • Wine is 2.8%

Low and no alcohol drinks are 15%.

You need to read the details. It's been running for a few days

          • @nismo: It wasn’t. I went to the ‘red wine’ section/banner on SB within the Dan Murphy’s page and it was showing as 15%.

  • Omg six… when i will be able to finish them….

    • +2

if you're working from home, you can finish it by the end of the week for sure

      • +3

End of the week! With my new stainless steel straw they'll be gone on the drive home.

  • so tempted to get this, will arrive before lockdown finishes so I can drink it while I'm working from home.

    • So the wine is decent? Can you recommend the sweetest wine at reasonable price?

      • -1

lol i dunno man, the RRP is making me hard to resist but

If you want a sweet wine, you need white wine like Sav Blanc from NZ Marlborough or a Rose

        • +1

          Try wine gums, there sweet.

      • +1

        Or the Brown Brothers Riesling.

Riesling is what you're probably looking for if you want sweetness.

      • +2

Sweet wine are pretty cheap, stick with moscato for white and Dolcetto & Syrah, lambrusco or sangria for red.

      • If you like sweet wines then go for something like Moscato. If you want sweetish red then go for Sangria, Costco does one for 1.5l for $10. It is really nice with frozen berries. You then have macerated fruit to have with Greek Yogurt as a dessert.

Just drink cherry juice? Generally cheaper wine will contain up to 4x more sugar, so you'll have no issues finding what you're after.

        • is there sweet brandy ?

      • https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_ER_2000003422_WY362… wont be super sweet but generally sweeter then most other options. 12 for $40 is great value too

  • Thanks OP x3 cases

  • Bought a case

Was looking for a sub $10 quaffer

Did anyone notice that the photo shows reserve red? Are they the same?

  • Hey Rep, no chance to get any stock in the Central Coast, NSW? No pick up or delivery available. I was keen on trying this one. Cheers.

    • Delivery only

  • Thanks bought 2 case.

I believe CM emerge to DM and this was originally from CM

  • +1

Adds $6.90 delivery fee for me. No option for pickup. Actual cost is $55.90.

  • Agree - good deal but $6.90 delivery charge should be in title… That said I got 12 bottles (2 cases) so as to reduce the per bottle delivery cost…

  • 3.8 on Vivino, solid reviews. I would say that's a good rating for the price.

  • +2

Nobody but DM has it for sale and the DM panel gives it a 93 which means a real world rating of under 90. Been caught before on questionable DM product and this seems to fit the mould.

    • 3.8 on vivino isn't too shabby, probably on par for a decent $10-$15 quaffer.

I agree though the DM panel 93 is closer to an 89-90.

DM seem to plaster high numbers on average wine to get it to move.

aussie wine from a pom cricketer

      https://www.thedrinksbusiness.com/2018/08/sir-ian-bothams-wi…
This is another lovely and typically Australian expression of Shiraz, with masses of black fruit and an attractive plummy and gently spicy edge, although, unlike the All-Rounder, this has a touch of chocolate from barrel influence, and more power and persistence due to the superior grape sourcing, with some old vine fruit employed in the blend.

      Score: 91+

    • At that price it’s got to be worth a go. Same price as gossips

    • +1

      3.8 on vivino https://www.vivino.com/AU/en/botham-south-eastern-eightyone-…

Not too shabby, would make sense having a 90-91 rating.

Finally the Chinese wine glut has an impact on our prices.

    • I'll tell you in a couple of days. Thanks for the link

      • Mine arrived & I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality. Not a top drop by any means, but very smooth, quaffable wine. Worth way more than the $4.30 I paid. Never liked Botham but at this price he won’t be getting anything anyway

        • Thanks. Quaffable is what I was aiming for. I've got a bit of a block about opening the 'good' stuff for a mid-week glass.

  • Good deal. Bought a couple of cases of quaffing riesling down from $11 to $3.33 (well $3.63 with delivery).

Already have heaps of red but plenty of good buys in this list.

  • +2

I received this today and can confirm its the reserve red.

  • ordered on 7 July and still not received. Pretty poor service

  • +1

    💥 reserve red it is
