I have tried 3 x logitech mouse and keyboard combos so far and none are working properly with my MacBook air 2020. Ive tried logitech MK270R, MK235 and an office works basic one. There are big delays with the keyboard on logitechs and the office works one - mouse wouldn't work. Anyone have any suggestions please?

Could claim it as a tax deduction depending on OP's line of work
get these. they're expensive but work really well with macbooks. There's a trackpad as well in case you don't like the mouse.
I've got one but use it for my iPad
Wait why don’t you use it for your Mac then lol
It’s easier to have them separate :)
How are you plugging the mice into the laptop? I'd double check your TB3 hub and make sure it's not causing the issue (or if you have an external drive or a lot of devices maybe unplug a bunch and try the mouse by itself). That three mice went wrong sounds like it's a different problem.
Alternatively, go bluetooth, that'll get around the problem. MX Keys and MX Master (or if you're on a budget, Satechi keyboard and Microsoft Bluetooth Ergo)
Keychron make reasonably priced mechanical keyboards for Mac.
Mine has Bluetooth or cable option. They say that there's a tiny lag with Bt but it's not noticeable; no lag at all with the cable,
https://www.keychron.comI can see basically all tech youtubers are using this lol. They must have paid big money for promo.
Which one would you recommend ? There are a few of them…
I have the K2 because I wanted the smallest possible to take to work. Otherwise, I'd get the K4, which has a numeric keypad but is quite compact.
I definitely prefer the brown switches because you can feel a click but they're quiet. Don't get blue switches unless you want a racket.Thx legend. Yeh I prefer brown switch. Currently using brown switch hehe
Considered the magic keyboard and mouse from Apple? Or out of budget? Not cheap from memory.
