I want to buy a 15.6” Laptop for home. My budget is up to $1,000.
The only main requirements I have is it should be 15.6” and a bit faster machine. I don’t want a gaming laptop but I don’t want a slower one as well. I prefer SSD ones as they are a bit faster. I will use it to listen to music, watch videos and surf internet (just basic stuff).
Can you please suggest any suitable options?

I literally gave you four options on the other post. The reason nobody else commented is because there isn't much more to say. You want a good, basic laptop for the price, pick one of those and be done with it.

I wanted Dell ones which you mentioned but deal ended. Thank you heaps anyway for your comments.
The deal isnt much more, it's $24 for the same spec'd laptop and if you haven't used cashrewards just ffind a referal link on here and it will give you another $10 on sign up to make it a $14 difference.
I mentioned as well why I am re posting so mods won’t smack me. They have added both forums together as I expected anyway.

Personally I’d just pick the dell, they will do the job for what you’ve said. $100 budget stretch is probably wise as you’re getting a big improvement to future proofing with newest CPU, TB4 and a bit more RAM (however 8GB is more than enough for what you want to do). Just uninstall all their bloatware or do a fresh install if you know how to (not difficult). I have a Dell XPS and it came with heaps of their software for managing stuff which windows already does.
