How so, I'm a genuine newb?
its an ATX PC and a 2.5 slot card, I don't see an issue. You only need to worry about compatibility of GPU and PC if they are either several generations (like many many in this case) apart or that you are using a ultra small form factor case. The pair is also alright in terms of bottlenecking. 8GB RAM though, might want to go 16 or 32 for gaming. 550w White certified PSU seems OK too but not great.
thank you.

In terms of quality or capacity?
Efficiency
What are you using the PC for?
As above, you can just get the same stick with the same timings and speed. Intel based CPU isn't really ram speed dependent like AMD so you should be find with its current timings.
As for the CPU - package itself does not come with its own stock cooler so it might be worth checking if there is a cooler.
GPU will work fine in that set up. The PC itself is fairly priced but wouldn't say its a bargain, looks like they just slapped together parts they couldn't sell.
I would say to build your own if you had to choose between that and this PC.
This build I just quickly put together is much better than the one you've listed: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/HzN7LP
You can also definitely downgrade the CPU from 8 to 6 cores something like R5 3600/5600X to save $200/300 (both also come with stock fan cooler so save another $80). For gaming, 3600/5600x is fine, for other workstation stuff like video editing, then consider getting 8core +
Agree, the list Diverse provided is wayyyyy better
Thanks diverse.
my budget is 2000 south. And It's for mining..
1.Just want a Gpu with a decent hash rate to start. so not gaming per say.(RTX 2070 SUPER) ticks a few boxes within my budget.
2.the cpu is just for embellishment really, i just felt it was at good price/performance ratio (i might be wrong)
3.I've tried multiple sites with different configs this was the best i could garner based on my budget.
4. Upgrade ability.
5. Have little tech knowledge to build my own.
I've slightly updated the above parts for mining and upgrade ability/future proofing: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/Cw3QJf
GPU wise, if you can manage to snag a 3070 for under 1.2k you should be fine - there have been posts on it and I've seen some go under 1k (that is if you are willing to wait).
Don't need that much tech knowledge to build a PC. There are plenty of guides on YouTube on how to build PCs by YouTubers such as LinusTechTips and Bitwit. PC building looks intimidating but it's much easier than you think, think most of the worry comes from handling expensive parts which is understandable.
All you really have to consider is the length of the card vs the internal dimensions of the case.
Should be fine.
550 watts might be on the low side though, and white being the lowest rung of psu.
Thanks garetz, was more concerned the motherboard wouldn't fit the gpu or future gpu upgrades.
put my mind at rest
The psu is a conversation for another day..
cheers mate.
I do find it strange that its a midi tower case that comes with a micro atx motherboard, it really limits your expandability.

Pretty good deal.. it'll be gone quick
Probably need to update title so that relevant compatibility experts can help you!
