Just received ‘an update on my eBay Plus membership’.
‘ The Coles on eBay store will be closing on 16 July, 2021. This means we will no longer be able to offer the 5% off discount and free delivery over $49 on Coles orders as part of your eBay Plus member benefits.’
I found this quite handy especially in lockdown.

Not sure if it was eBay's fault, more so Coles.
91.7% Feedback might have something to do with it.
Their eBay store has always been problematic with cancelled orders, stock issues, no support if something went wrong. Basically it wasn't worth the risk.
Don't eBay charge like 30% commission?
No, for eBay stores the final value fee is something like 5-10% depending on the category and store type. For personal users it's a bit more, something like 15% now.

The $19 pm for Coles Plus is such an effing rip-off when compared to Amazon Prime's $6.99 per month.
In particular, you only get free delivery with Coles Plus if your order is over $100 !!, which makes it totally useless for people living alone or in smaller families.
Aussie retailers are still in the mindset where they have a monopoly on the market & can gouge the hapless customer as much as they want.
I'm using Woolworths Delivery Unlimited Midweek @ $13.50pm.

Yeah, Coles should've dumped that store ages ago and invested better in their own website, they've enough coverage and brand to go their own way but surprisingly got sucked into eBay selling pantry product which even a chinese drop shipper can do better.
Was really disappointed when I read this.
No more 5% discount and stack with discounted ebay gift card. Coles ebay delivery also doesn’t charge for the “bags” compare to Coles online.
I have had extremely frustrating experiences with Coles eBay. Such as canceling orders numerous times due to my "address not existing" even though they delivered to me many times prior. No help for several days when I am trying to get food during the lockdown. But was good getting free delivery and using GC's.
I voted with my feet and cancelled my eBay Plus membership. Not sure what the benefits were anyway.
eBay's not what it used to be. Can hardly blame Coles for giving them the flick…
