      Should be called "Flour pie'

      Can't wheat to try one…

  • So this contains more flour than chicken?

  • Think all their traveler pies are half price.

    • +1

      I wonder why?

  • 25% chicken…. Sounds great

  • +2

Lack of demand for traveler packs at the moment?

    • +4

Marketing should consider change the name to

"Four N Ten day Quarantine" pies…

      • shut up and take my money

    • You use at home bro!

The Herbert Adams butter chicken pies were pretty nice but they don't sell them anymore :( has anyone tried the Four N Twenty version and give honest feedback on them? lol

    • Herbert Adams & Four N Twenty are both owned by Patties and thus most likely made in the same factory.

and thus most likely made in the same factory.

        Your argument is not logical…

They have 2 production facilities and fruit-pie production was moved to Pakehnam in 2019 to increase the savory pie production in Bairnsdale
Why is it not logical that all their savory pies pies are made at the same location - which also happens to be the biggest savory pie bakery in the world?

            @Wolfy:

            and thus most likely
            Why is it not logical

Because that is not what normally happens when companies are acquired.

            • @jv: Consolidation and cost savings are very normal when brands (companies) are acquired or merged.

Thus the Kensington (Four and Twenty) plant was closed (a number of years ago) and that brand's pie-production moved to the greatly expanded Bairnsdale (Patties) location, where it is perfectly logical to assume Herbert Adams savory pies are also made.

Rarely for manufacturing plants in different locations making different products.
Unless they choose to change the shape (and therefore the product) of Herbert Adams pies.

    • They're pretty decent! Much milder in flavour, but still hits a mark of it's own.

    "Butter Chicken"

    25% chicken
    0% butter

Not entirely sure how that can even be sold under that title lol

(Oh it does have some milk solids…even if it's less than the thickeners)

  • Thanks OP.
I do like these, a good price, so will buy some more.
These were around 2 for $4.25 in the last few weeks at Coles & Woolies, in Vic anyway.

  • Trying to add to my online trolley, it's "One for $1.60", or "Two for $4.50", bit of a fail
