Quick, notify the relevant Nanny State authoritarian enforcers
I believe if it is for offroad use you can use an accelerator, also can go past 25km/h limit
Definitely legal in the ACT. You need to check the rules in your own state/territory.
Code: 100OFF brings price down to $999
I wonder why the rep did not include this important info in his post
Link says:
Buy any E-Bike and get $100 discount in accessoriesPromo code: "100off"
Not a motivated seller
The ad says it is for accessories ?
It worked on the bike at checkout
What are the shipping costs like to Adelaide ? or is shipping included.
Seems like an Ebike that is a reasonable weight. The latest one Aldi was selling was getting into the high 20sEdit : Shipping $130 uuuggghhh no thanks
I wish folding e bikes were on sale
What is the best affordable ebike we should buy and worth for the money.
How enjoyable would these be to ride normally given they weigh ~20kgs and are 9 speed?
Trying to find an e-bike for my wife and I but want something we can actually enjoy riding while also having the benefit of electric assist or a free ride home
Leitner are probably the best available ebikes for him/her easy riding and top quality https://leitner.com.au/
Thanks, they look like great value for money
I've had mine for 6 months. Bike shops/mechanics have never heard of it and some won't even touch it unless it's something they sell. Should be okay if you're handy with working on bikes. Good, responsive customer service though, I'll give them that.
The Mono seems to be better compared to the Leitner venice if you are after a step thru bike. Mono is 21kg vs 22kg weight, 9 speed casette vs 6 speed freewheel, 700c vs 26inch tyres. Cheaper too so i would go with the Mono.
Hi whitelie,
Even without the motor assistance this bike is not hard to peddle.
This e-bike is a good option for rides up to 40 km distance.

I must be missing something as I always thought riding a bicycle was a form of exercise……
You still have to pedal.
it still is. with electric assist, it can be as easy or strenuous as you like. some people just need to commute from point a to b - without arriving a sweaty mess at point b - and the incidental exercise is a bonus.
I thought we were only allowed pedal assist eBikes in Australia?
