These has gone up significant in recent years. Was <$300 a few years ago

    • When they were selling for around $300 at the end of 2018 it was considered a heavy discount, I think they were introducing a new model or something. I bought one then but had been watching them for a year or two and even back then standard sale price was $450-$500.

      • I got the KPM5 with ice cream bowl attachment for $389 (ex Kogan) about 18 months ago.

Sadly, those days are long gone.

And we've since had repeat visits from Father COVID bearing gifts of dubious provenance. Can we go back now? Please!!!

    This 499, is actually a rip-off

  • I paid $399 at Costco just before mother's Day.
The bowls , beaters are all a different size to the normal machines so less of a selection( only found two different stainless steel bowls available).
The slicers , pasta maker grinders etc are all compatible.
The size is a cute smaller version but the bowls available are tiny so feel like I can only do half the amount of my Kenwood chef .Doesn't seem as powerful as the Kenwood either, the attachments are great if you can find them at a good price.
Great size for apartments or holiday homes.

    • No ice cream attachment either as it doesn't fit the Mini

    • Would it be big enough to make 2 regular cakes or 2 regular pizza doughs? Or singular only.
      Thanks.

      • I would say probably just the one, judging from my personal experience.

          Thanks, appreciate the reply.

      • The bowl is 19 cm across and 16 cm high.
It's big enough to mix a single batch of anything but probably only a good mix on 1/3 of what I can toss in the Kenwood chef.
Think the bowl is 3.3 litres but would probably only put about a litre of ingredients in to mix well.
I also purchased the Costco KitchenAid food processor when it was under $140( instead of $549).It is a massive 13 cups capacity in size and looks hilarious next to the tiny mixer.

  • Tempting as I was considering the KSM150 or 160 but there has not been much deal on those these days.
