This pricing is ridiculous. After seeing AvE's teardown, anyone paying this money for this device is mental.

      Love his reviews lol,

But yeah, this is absolutely not worth the 'sale' price let alone the RRP per the teardown.

Totally agree, but what's the alternative? Is there anything better in terms of function and pricing? I'd love to purchase something like this, so many gym pains, am willing to pay a bit more provided it delivers on what it promises and it lasts..

Ya that's the real problem. I think most people know its a nonsense price but finding an actual percussive massage gun (not a stupid vibration style one) is damn hard because all the knock-offs lie like crazy in their advertising.

    Thanks OP ordered 5

  • CR Sev showing how it's used…

    • I find it hard to believe he does not have his own team of personal massage therapists.

By paying $636 for this you’re already getting a pounding

i have the g3 (~$200ish) from kogan. its really good just noisy.

    • Me too. Frankly, not as noisy as I was expecting from reviews. Shut one door and it's not going to bother anyone elsewhere in the house.

From new, my g3 dies when the battery still has two of the five battery indicator leds illuminated. How is yours?

      • yeah i never really understood the led illumination always seems full. I dont use it for hours at a time that i can drain it.
The noticeable difference is the handle is really good - can do all positions with that handle.

  • That is crazy expensive. What's special about this?

I paid $90 for my Renpho one.

    • Massage gun vs percussion gun. They work differently and have different results.

      • how do you mean?

        • The cheaper ones just vibrate. These more expensive ones actually penetrate a cm or so into the muscle. Quite a different effect to them.

          • @Morien: I have a cheap one ($50). It doesn't just vibrate. It moves back and forth. Is that what you mean?

Oops I bought this at RRP one night while drunk. It's amazing though, and not fair to compare to the cheapies.

Good price, I got the elite version and it's powerful enough for me. Priced matched with rebel sport with this similar sale for about $550 less 7% gift card from hcf, or the 10% off him card.

For those comparing to the renpho from Amazon, that one was good initially, but after a while it felt more of a vibrating gun, this one is definitely a good massage gun. Goes deep where you need it. But price tag, yes it's darn expensive, but don't think anything else could compare. Also the triangle grip is good, can hold in multiple positions for your back or under the leg.

    • I got lucky. rebel priced matched what I later realised was an ex gst price ($681) and then I got 15% off rebel gift cards through SmartSpending making it $579 (plus I may even get cashback!)

I also ponied up for the Elite. Couldn't justify the crazy price tag of the Pro model, and frankly for individuals there's no need for it.

It works a charm though. The missus has been having knee issues and using this on the calves and ITB each day has been a lifesaver.

      • Got the elite off this deal, price matched with Harvey Norman, thanks to your comment, was split between this and the renpho
