Room dimensions: 4m L x 3.5m W. We sit 300cm (10 feet) from the screen.
Prefer 55" or 65" however will consider the 77" only if compelling saving.
A one TV house with young kids watching kids TV shows abc/iview and Disney+ Parents watching Netflix, Prime - TV series / movies.If you're not gaming there's no real reason to go with LG really, especially not the G1. You can go cheaper with a Sony or Samsung that will definitely do the job!

I heard that 55" is the sane, popular and affordable choice. Anything OLED above 55" are just massive price increases that are not worth it, but if you have money to spend that you don't care about, just go as big as you feel comfortable in your room.
I kinda really want the 65", but I've been using a 55" Samsung QLED for five years now and its probably big enough. Just craving that 10 inches.

actually a lot of people say that to really appreciate OLED you need 65 or bigger.
affordable is subjective. i can afford an 83" screen but can't fit it
plus with OLED you need to be sitting a lot closer than with LED and other older panel types so for 10 feet away this guy should definitely be looking at 77 or bigger

@greycellgreen: So I quoted your $3110 price at TGG Moore Park and the guy happily dropped the 65 C1 down to that but unfortunately didn't have stock for two weeks. Took that price to JB at the other end of Supacentre and they had one new one left in stock - got it for $3150 with delivery and a Panasonic UB820 player for $400 - down from $650. Lockdown sorted. Finally I can stop obsessively looking at OLED prices here. Many thanks again for posting your price.
Er, the price difference between the models you listed is pretty extreme. Which one do you actually want to buy?
