I bought the Tarah Pro last year, from JB, they were dead on arrival….make sure wherever you buy them from has easy returns. I ended up with the X4's instead, and would say the Tarah Pro were nicer. Particularly the rope cord and the number of ear fit options.

What's ShoppingExpress's warranty procedure like? I've had two of these sets so far and while I love them, they do have faults.
i had a set and loved them too. what went wrong with yours? was it the peeling of the rubber on remote?
The first set just randomly died while I was talking on the phone and could never turn them on again (they were only a few weeks old and fully charged at the time). Returned those and got a second set, but they sometimes switch off randomly, so I may return those too, we'll see if the problem gets worse.

@Zenyatta: It looks like there are two listings for nimbus grey (each depict a different colour too). One is $140 and the other is $158. the $158 variant discounts 50% (like cosmic) but both only discount on their own in the cart.
So yes, you're right and I was misled by the inconsistent listings.

This will be my third set. They fault/rubber comes off etc after a few months and jb hifi exchange on the spot. But they haven't stocked them for a while now.
I suspect they are being discontinued. I bought mine close to retail price in 2019 I think
So.. you can actually get free shipping even with just one of these headsets. I tried to add something outside of the promotion to get free shipping, realised it wasn't free, removed that item but the promo code stuck and I ended up not paying for shipping.

Yes probably a bug. I didn't do it on purpose, was prepared to pay for shipping but saw that it had been removed after taking the 2nd headset out of cart.
Edit: forgot to mention on my parent comment that I also tried adding a 2nd headset and then removed it so that was probably what caused the code to be entered.

Mine are still going ok after more than 2 years if use. I paid $180 back in the day. Just make sure you research the rubber peeling issue before purchasing. Mine are peeling but luckily the buttons still work. My friend was not so lucky. Died after 11 months due to peeling.
these have a two year warranty so your mate should be able to get a replacement.
Got mine from TGG in Nov last year, just died a few weeks ago… wouldn't turn on half the time and even if it did, would not stay connected to my phone.
Unfortunately mine arrived and don't work at all. Don't switch on, don't charge. I've now owned three of these and two have died pretty much immediately. They seem to have a high failure rate.
Horrible quality. Have put me off buying anything from Jaybird. I was looking at the Jaybird Vista 2s but now hearing quality issues with them as well….It's a shame because their products are great - when they work!
