From Dashcameras.net:
-Low power cut off for parking mode. Low voltage detection is now built into both of the X model dash cams, meaning you don’t need a separate device to switch the dash cam off if your car battery is getting too low.
-LTE 4G hot spot. The DR750X has a USB port to plug in a small 4G LTE wifi router module that will become a hot spot your dash cam can use to store videos on the cloud. This means you don’t have to use your smart phones hot spot, making it a stand alone setup.
-Bluetooth is supported in the hardware, however it has not yet been finalized. Bluetooth connectivity may be added through future firmware updates.
-Better in high heats. BlackVue has improved the overall tolerance to extreme weather conditions.
And Price rise
I have a 750s and use power magic pro for parking mode. I like how you can just flick the switch off and on when required to activate it or turn it off.
With the 750x is there a button or do you manually have to go into the software to turn off parking mode?
You can use the mobile app or remove the SD card and change the settings using your PC. The mobile app is easy to use - you can either connect to the camera directly or, if you park within range of your home wifi, you can set the camera up so that you can access it over your home network.
FYI there is a new Plus version which I'm waiting for a discount on. It has a newer camera sensor which improves picture quality especially the exposure & low light footage.
Do you have the exact model number?
Thanks for that.
it also has built in voltage regulator for hardwire so you don't need power magic pro
I have the 750x-2ch installed in my wifes car - no complaints so far. It even tells you over the speaker if its recorded an incident while you've been gone when you hop in the car and start it up. no need for the magic pro, buy 2 fuse taps - one wire goes to a constant power fuse & the other wire goes to accessories.
My Navman from 2016 does this
Almost $500 on a dashcam !!!!!!!!!!
no thanks
Could easily save you more money if an an accident happens that is not your fault.
Any recommendations for hardwired installers in Sydney?
If ur buying from Autobarn, hit them up to do it at the same time … Not sure on cost but I know they do installs
thanks! Wasn't aware they also do installations.
Thanks for all the great comments and feedback. I've ordered these and will be installing them next week on my RnR.
What’s the difference between the 750S and 750X ?
I have two 750S 2CH in my vehicles
