Ah yes comes with an amazing 7 seasons!

    • some say only 5 or 6 seasons that was good.

      • All we know is, that he's called The Stig.

  • It says NTSC format on it so will it work here as we use PAL or is that in the past now :P ?

  • GoT ended but was never complete

      Hopefully the spin-offs won't be a disaster.

      • At least the two clowns won't being the show
and the series will be based on a completed book.

And the director of big battle episodes is now a show runner.

Just get normal blu ray for half the price. Picture is more than good enough already with fullhd

  • Wonder what size each disc is? Well better have it on a storage drive,.. well one easy access too them and two you won't damage the original blurry discs

    • ~250gb each season for first 6 seasons, ~200gb each season for the last 2 seasons. :)

US$129. Thats a big increase for Aus.
Anybody asking about regions. All 4K Blu-Rays are region free

    • It is not really. The US$129 is only for USA Prime. Otherwise it is $US153.99

Shipping for either option is US$14.98

      Sub Totals
      Prime US$143.98 (+GST 14.40)
      No Prime US$168.97 (+GST 16.90)

      Total
      Prime AUD$209
      No Prime AUD$246

      Edit: Cool. Negs for facts!

You're missing the point completely. They pay tax but not as much as our 10% GST. Shipping is free for everything prime. So just conversion rate and maybe a couple dollars tax. So somewhere around $170. Australia has a Blu-Ray manufacturing centre too so our version could have even been made here.
Facts? I'm just saying how Aus pays so much more for everything, some reason you add in GST and shipping that they don't pay for.

        • They pay pretty close to 10% sales tax in most states. It is added at checkout and not in the listing price.

Your argument regards Blu-Ray manufacturing is irrelevant, the version you are buying is not made here and ships from USA, via the Amazon AU page.

Umm, it says it's a one disc version up top and then the reviews say it's a bootleg that has an episode of seinfeld on the season 4 disc which could be a GoT reference I don't understand but sounds dodgy.

    • it looks like all the reviews are for all versions, it looks like the dvd version is dodgy one

Monumental FU by the makers of this show. I've never seen such a huge cultural phenomena die over night. Such a shame.

    • The final book may never be released either, another FU.

    • it's been on a downhill slope since season 5, which is when they started deviating from the books. they hadn't run out of material at that point, they just chose to leave out a lot of stuff.

    • final season was too rush that is why it failed..
they had GRRM to consult the plot and ending but chose to rush it

A lot of the plot threads (regards to jon snow) and other plots throughout the entire series amounted to nowhere..

Keep in mind, GoT 4K BluRay is actually fake 4K, not native. You can get standard BluRay and you won’t be missing out much.

    • The HDR on the UHD is pretty nice though!

    • The DV or even hdr coupled with upscale 4K is a big step up in viewing to the standard blurays

    • Yes it was largely shot at 1080P, but it was also shot in 10bit, and you won't get that in BluRay which is 8bit.
The 4K brings with it the 10bit data thus removing the banding that is prevalent on the BluRay version.
Plus Dolby Vision and or HDR.

  • It shows up as 218.63 for me. So pulled the trigger.

Edit: Now that I have already pulled the trigger, I only have aPS5 Disc edition at home as a4K Blu Ray Player. So my humble question is the PS5 will play this 4K Blu Ray without any issues right as the 4K Blu ray's are supposed to be region free ? Can some one please advise ?

  • Price is now down to A$ 217.01.
