Love the protein marketing on these - 10g's of protein…More protein in my morning coffee.

    • I like these bars but I agree. It should have 'Fat' written on the front instead since it has more fat than protein or carbs.

      • Yeah more Fat than protein lol (saturated fat as well)
The fat you eat is the fat you wear..

Yeah i like these as well, but the marketing is pretty misleading for people who dont know how to read macros and understand calorie/marco daily intake and goals etc. Its all the trend these days for products to advertise things as high in protein when in reality they are putting an additional 1-2 grams of protein compared to the standard.

oh shit, I've been eating alot of these mainly due to protein. Are these bad?? Also, I thought nuts are good for you

          • +1

@Homr: They're not bad, I still eat them most days. The marketing is just a bit misleading.

            • @Saltysez: I eat 1 per day, will it hurt my gains?

            • @Saltysez:

              They're not bad

Yes they are… Too much sugar.

              • @jv: Too much fat

                • @G-rig: Contains nuts.

                  • @jv: It's the other crap, nuts wouldn't contain sat fats

                    • @G-rig:

                      nuts wouldn't contain sat fats

                      peanuts do…

                      • @jv: Beg your pardon.. just checked cronometer, and yes they contain 3.8g saturated fat per 100g
All the more reason to avoid having too many, but the other ingredients may account for more. than the raw almonds.

It's just the bs food industries (meat and dairy) creating the carb phobia, and just pushing 'protein' requirements to sell stuff.
There's not really such a thing as people being deficient in protein and people don't actually need as much as they think in general.

          • @Homr: Fine in moderation, like most things. But if you're aiming for a high protein diet to build muscle or keep you full then these arnt going to be hitting those goals for you.

  • FYI. Currently $4.50 at coles. Special ends today.

5 bars or 5 packs? 5 bars is a decent price but 5 packs (of 5 bars each) is awesome.

Bit confusing as the Amazon language refers to 5 pack but the marketing on the box says 5 bars.

      use ur common sense

      • The current price is the regular sale price at ColesWorth. How is this considered a bargain?? Use some common sense.

      • Amazon makes description/title errors all the time so common sense doesn't come into it.

    • 5 boxes of 5 packs of 5 bars

Should be called Fat bars not Protein bars (11.7g Fat vs 11.2g Protein)

    • (11.7g Fat vs 11.2g Protein)

      10.4g Protein, 10.1g Carbs…
