Seems to be cheapest ever on this mic.
Exactly why most people would want a mic, I can’t answer that.

? Neweer mics are usually pretty good.
Wow thanks for posting that I just cancelled my order
It's actually a pretty decent mic especially for the price. Condenser mic or not, one bad review doesn't undo all of the good ones. Just go on Youtube to see some proper in depth reviews and proper tests.
Is it fantastic? No. Is it good for the price? Yes. For $17, it's worth it for the arm and shock mount alone.
What ever happened to that OzBargain podcast Scotty mentioned about a year ago… It was something a 3rd party proposed and he was getting our feedback about what we would like to hear, how often it should be released etc… hmmm, was looking forward to that.
There's an amazon review that the 8000 is better than the 800. Granted I don't know anything about mics, I took this advice and bought the 8000.
Transitioning from a Neewer NW-800, so i can provide a bit of reassurance to others who are considering it. Firstly, any background hissing on a NW-800, even being run through a Neewer 48v Phantom Power supply, has been drastically reduced (NOT REMOVED). Using the NW-800, I found that there were slight drops in audio quality when trying to remove the hissing, however, the hissing in the NW-8000 is minimal enough that there is no noticable drop in voice quality when removing the hissing. Secondly, compatibility has been SIGNIFICANTLY improved, allowing for connection through USB rather than the XLR mess that sat under my desk for half a year. Next up, sound quality. For the price, it is phenomenal, able to compete with premium brand microphones. Sounds almost exactly the same as the NW-800, just with less background noise and thus, a higher quality result. Finally, the price. While the microphone IS more expensive than the NW-800, the NW-800 requires other items to provide high quality results, such as the Neewer Phantom Power supply, which costs ~$30 Australian on its own, and then you may even want to get a sound card to reduce the hissing even further, which can cost a fair amount of money aswell, and the final cost will probably be somewhere around $80-120 AU (if you stick to the budget and cheap parts). With the NEEWER mic stand I have currently, the total cost for the NW-8000 ended up at around $60 AU, and sounded better due to the USB interface.
The 8000 is slightly more expensive and doesn't come with an arm. link.
I bought this 2 weeks ago. It's pretty good. Pick up is really clear. Mainly use it on discord. Also using this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B085VFY314/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g…

Maybe try again ?
Got this starting soon too https://www.amazon.com.au/Neewer-Broadcasting-Recording-Adju…
How do you know that's up soon? I couldn't find that anywhere
edit: nevermind. Just came up. lol
But it's double the price of the OP one though at $34.50.
I wasn't to know. Worth keeping an eye out. Lightning deals repeat. There's also the encore tomorrow.
It's double the price, but it's just white and silver right. I mean it definitely looks better, but hard to justify paying double?
Well, Mic is just a bonus. I just wanted all the boom arm/suspension accessories. Thanks OP
unfortunately there are no more left :(
Different model number but basically the same. Its 21 cents more - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08JGP15H6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g…
I got the 8000 as recommended by @xaykogeki thanks!

available for $19.59
not sure what is going on .. there was a regular price listed at $14 for me.. ordered one at $14
actually i see that as well. got my order cancelled and reordered it. thanks!
Saw that too! cancelled and reordered.
Already received it this morning.. stand looks good but the recording volume is very low (even at max gain on laptop). looks like you need a Phantom power box for additional power beyond what the 3.5mm jack provides from a laptop
This is the kind of mic that has people saying "Are you having mic issues?" in zoom
