    How did you get $1, coming up $1.12

    You can use these over and over (freezing bananas, strawberries, corriander etc)
    could put in containers as well but easy to stack bananas in these. Don't have to throw away after after one use - easy to rinse etc.
    Anyway only needed a few large ones. Aldi has/had the heavier duty reusable zip locks in 3 packs as well.

      What's the difference b/t freezer bags and storage bags? Storage bags turn out cheaper.

            @xxau: No worries. The sandwich bags are the thinnest but they are good to store short cables and stuff.

      I find the locking mechanism on the ziplock easier and smoother to use, while the plastic on the ikea ones are stronger and thicker

      Been using these for about a year. Figure with my cooking at mostly 50-65, they're pretty safe. No strange taste, immersion method works but maybe I just suck at doing it coz there's always some air left. Doesn't impact the cooking much though.

        I'm not sure how to change the out of stock, mods added it and also changed it to just be the large one, when I first posted it. I'll post it in the description, maybe the mods can remove the out of stock.
