  • Can't see those prices.

    • Price at checkout.

  • How do these compare to the Pampers brand? https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B00AR9HX4U/ref=ppx_yo_d… Appears to be alot cheaper..

    • Anyone have feedback? Size 3 nappies are 18/cents EA and from google reviews they are the same level as huggies?

    • +3

a lot better than pampers. I use the brand since 12 months.

    • Using pampers now - they are just as good as huggies ultra dry. Wide coverage and thinner too so good for summer.
Pampers newborn were really bad but size 3 ultra dry are good.
I usually use huggies but thought I would try pampers at the last Amazon sale.

      • FYI just recieved my pampers and they are thinner than the coles/aldi ones i bought to try! Glad i bought huggies as a backup and have organised to return the pampers.

Reading the reviews, ppeople complain these pampers are thinner than normal and not the same as what it should be…

  • -2

believe only size 3 is this price, and size4-6 price is not as good as previous deals

    • Just bought 5s and 6s at this price

    • no, wrong bought seize 4 at that price…

  • Size 5 is $48 as a one time only deal for Prime subscribers, cheaper as well if you S&S. If you want to buy more than one, you need to buy them one at a time.

  • thx mate, got a few size 4 boxes

  • Huggies ultimate newborn (sizes 1 and 2) also on special for $48 or S&S $40

    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B076CHRGHZ/

  • Just bought size 4 and 5.
You have to S&S. And then at check out it will show $39.

  • Had to do single checkout for size 4. Not an issue.

  • For some reason when I add two size 4 boxes comes to $89
So I did two separate transactions at $39 each

    • I spoke with chat and they applied promotional credit for the difference

      • +1

For anyone wondering the trick is to add one to cart and go to finalise but increase it right before paying.

  • i dont get the price in the check out. am I doing something wrong?

    • +2

Shouldn't you be answering that question…. "Associated"???

  • +5

Still prefer the Aldi brand, which is still cheaper as well.

    • Genuinely better nappies than Huggies, speaking from weary experience

    • Pretty sure Little Ones from Woolies are the same, for those who have easier access to a Woolies.

      • +1

Makes my baby smell like the streets of a CBD. Not a pleasant smell.

        • Interesting. I have found Little Ones start to smell if put on a prolonged period (overnight), but not the usual 3-4hr duration between changes during the day. I may have to retry Aldi mamia again for overnight and see if it makes a difference. The mamia and Little Ones overall designs look exactly the same.

    • Aldi ones seem to cause a rash on our baby, no problems with any other brand so far (also tried huggies, babylove, cub).

  • not actually that cheap as you can get size 4 nappy pants at woolies for 31c and these are just regular nappies… just my thoughts

    • different quality comparing to little one's

      • +2

I was talking about Huggies Size 4 Nappy Pants sold at Woollies $9 for 29 when half price

Little One's hahaha would never use that

        • oops

        • Does this huggies pants has discount often?

          • @JackieCh: I feel like every 2 months atleast

Woolies and Coles take turns and you just buy like crazy

          • @JackieCh: BigW also has the half price sale every so often.

        • +1

I've used size 1 and 2 of the littles ones brand. I've found no issues

          • @crackman: Likewise. Using size 3 little ones.
Huggies, however, had sooo many leaks.

            • +1

@trabug: Boys leak more for sure

              Maxipad the sides lol

  • Anyone know if cashback/shopback will also work with prime day deals?

    • +2

It'll work for the categories listed by CR/SB, however won't work for Subscribe & Save (15% discount offered on Baby category by S&S is superior to cashback)

      • Thanks for the info

  • Noob question, can I cancel straight after I subscribe, or do I have to wait till I receive the first month's supply?

    TIA

    • +1

safer to wait till first one arrives. some here have reported cancelling before receiving can sometimes lead to the first one being cancelled too, depending on where it is in the delivery chain. if you are worried about forgetting just set it at 6 months

    • never tried that :) I usually wait first one to come and then cancel it. Don't leave it to last moment bcos then amazon plays out saying couldn't cancel the order. faced that issue on two different occasions.

    • pay with gift card, the subscription remains in error state..

  • btw, you can choose one time purchase at $48 then click subscribe and save to get another 15% off for eg below

Who the heck thinks these Ultra dry are great? As soon as they get saturated it stops absorbing at a certain point. Had multiple episodes where our toddler's clothes were soaked. Doesn't happen with Aldi. Don't waste your money.

    • The side protection isn't great I can agree to that

      Worse for boys

    • Lol yes saturated and stops absorbing at a certain point generally means you’re beyond the point of a nappy change. If you changed before this point I don’t think you have a problem with the clothes soaking.

We’ve never had issues with Ultra Dry nappies. Was annoyed when they stopped making them in Aus and shipped factory to China. Some issues with rashes with China made ones, but stopped after a small amount of time.

We tried Aldi Mamia ones due to Huggies making in China, but for one pack only and went back to Huggies. They always felt wet even when not full, so didn’t feel it was absorbing well.

Btw, you need to read up on how to use the neg vote.

      • -2

Try an Aldi, last way longer. How old is your baby? Also causes all sorts of dermatitis, rashes. But your the ozbargain expert. Couple of negs convinces the world. Unlike you I don't like to wake my toddler up middle of the night just to change nappies. It's good you have good experiences with Ultra dry, but it's utter waste of money for us.

Huggies ultimate on the other hand is excellent. Trumps everything.

        • +1

She's ~2. Regarding waking up our girl in the middle of the night, wasn't necessary as we used one size up for night time to alleviate this issue :)

But you're right, every child is different and each parent have different experiences… Your neg isn't used in the right way though, that's why I felt impelled to reply.

I didn't neg your comment btw.

Was going to write exactly what you said.
I just asked my wife if she had any problems with our three grandchildren that we babysit and her comments were as above on “changing it more regularly”. In another words, change nappies when required.
So we can confirm that we are very happy with these nappies (Huggies ultra dry) and continue to use them on our grandkids.

  • arent these cheaper at coles or woolies when the jumbo packs are on half price, comes to $0.25 per nappy for size 6

    • Different product

  • I used to be all for Huggies when they were made in Australia. I have switched to Woolies & Aldi. Both their home brands are made in Australia.

    • So !!! Their quality is so bad compared to huggies
