A colleague of mine bought the over ear one. He was mightly impressed with the personalization and the level of bass you can trigger.
I have owned the Galaxy Buds, a couple of Taotronics, and AirPods, and I've found these to have the most detailed, immersive sound quality.
The only issue I've encountered is that the AptX codec/chipset used results in occasional 1s audio cutout when first connecting or changing to a new album. They extended the 30 day trial to 60 days for me due to the issue, but I still opted to keep them because of the audio quality.
Are these normally $150 ?
Normally $199!
Anyone know if they are good for calls?
If you're in a noisy cafe, can the people on the other end still hear you over the background noise?
FYI - for mic test, refer to 5:57-mark here - https://youtu.be/isNKjo87eRE?t=359
Thanks, that helps - pretty poor mic result
30% off the over ear headphones.. does the reffer a friend still work?
Same price on Amazon with free shipping I think.
Still better to buy direct from official store
How so? If I order from Amazon I usually get it the next day
Yep better from Amazon. Can return. Tracking. Proper invoicing (this seems to have been a problem for Nura in the past).
With Prime Day coming on Monday, and given Nura have a ‘test post’ and history of Lightning sale on Prime Days, better off waiting two more days for a deeper discount anyhow.
@tommypickles: True. I thought buying direct from them we will get less hassles when it comes to warranty support. Also, Nuraphone need not give the cut to Amazon for the purchase. Shipping is any way free.
@usbc activist: Typically returns is better going through Amazon than a manufacturer. Amazon is often "no questions asked", whereas you never know with each manufacturer.
You sound like a rep.
Reviews on Amazon are OK, not great.
https://www.amazon.com.au/NuraLoop-bluetooth-personalised-ca…Not a rep, just an audio-enthusiast or audiophile (check out all of their posts!)
I agree – their 30 day satisfaction guarantee means you can return them no questions asked if you aren't satisfied. Their customer service is good too.
Sounds good when it's fitted perfectly. Absolutely PITA to properly fit. I wouldn't recommend it for design and comfort. Paid about $200+ for early adopters. Battery doesn't last as long as claimed, I'd say half that.
I read your comment after I ordered and posted this deal. I was not much hopeful of the fit. However, surprisingly, the L size tips fit me perfectly well than the default one. The earphones have some kind of suction feel where the earphones get stuck in the ear. They are so comfy. I came back here to comment to try the provided tips if the default ones does not give a proper fit.
Pulled the trigger and ordered from the sellers site. Hopefully they'll be good
Same here. Here's hoping🤞
Anywayz, this reminds me of Samsung's own Adapt Sound tech. I assume Nura took this concept a lot further and with better results?
BTW wonder how well the earhooks can accommodate spec wearers? Also, would like to know what best foam tips to use? Anyone that have care to chime in?
I've already got a pair of Jabra sport earbuds which comes with some foam earbud tips which I'm looking to try on before looking at alternatives. They're saying Comply 200 earbud foam tips are good as well as SpinFit CP360. That's my pecking order.
Apparently the Jabra 75t works just fine and so does the Comply 400 and a preferred recommendation with the 500 tips in which I'm inclined to go for.
Just make sure we go for the hollow ones snd not with the mesh guard.
and how'd they go?
and how'd they go?
Anyone been impressed by the personalised sound bit or is it more of a gimmick?
