I'm hoping they do a great job, Battlefield 1942 was my favourite in the series as some days playing with a few mates versus an army of bots was fun.

Have they said how much the Battlepass will cost to purchase seperately? Only the Gold and Ultimate editions include it which aren't on Amazon.
Also worth noting:
EA Play members (including Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers) will have early access to Open Beta and a 10-hour trial of Battlefield 2042 starting on October 15, 2021.
Didn't realise I'll get a trial as part of game pass. Probably enough time to make a decision on buying, cheers for sharing that.

For an extra 3 bucks being able to cancel preorder or have price decrease if revised further (Amazon policy) will be worth it to some people.
If this was $50 I'd pre-order. But I'll wait just incase it fails. The last game I pre-ordered was Bannerlord2 and that turned out to be a disappointment.

Don't pre-order. As mentioned above, there will be a 10 hour trial for Game Pass subscribers. Just get a $1 trial and then check it out that way.

If you were to pre-order how would EA know you did so to give access to the early beta anyway? I am guessing Amazon won't shit the box with your code in it until the game launches
i did a live chat with them and they said the beta code would be emailed :)
Hi Joran, where can you get the email? i call Amazon, they said only purchase from Amazon.com can get the early beta access not from Amazon.com.au
I contacted their support and they told me they only send the beta code once the item is shipped, which negates the entire point of pre ordering for early beta access
I don't see the issue with pre-ordering for battlefield. These guys have been in the business for years and haven't let the series down once. Sometimes u get issues but the Devs patch n fix it straight away, unlike Cyberpunk (never heard of them, still not fixed)
