  • Can somebody share their experience with these? Looking for Airpods Pro replacement. Siri is bad anyway, and I have too many Apple devices to connect to take advantage of some fast switching (which I've never seen working fine, like the Handoff functionality).

    • +2

Each to its own, for me, it gets really painful to my surrounding ear skin after prolong use, so I prefer the standard Airpods.

      • Agree. I find these very painful after wearing for more than 30 minutes. I would say my ear canals are quite large.

Can vouch for 65t, been using for over 2 years, not a problem at all. Bought them for $200+, at $78 they are very decent.

    • I've had minimal issues with my 65t for what is a first generation TWS. Sometimes the phone connection would be a bit flaky depending on the distance and orientation of the phone in my pocket, which I assume is due to the right earpiece being the master and the left side being the slave (I habitually have my iPhone X in my left trouser pocket 🤷‍♂️). I have only ever connected it to my phone, so haven't looked into any fast switching functionality unfortunately.

Have had both. Find them very comfortable.
The sound on the 75t is that much better (especially bass) that I’d go them again in future, and happily pay the difference.
The 65t picks up background noise, to the point that running the sink or stacking a dishwasher whilst talking on phone is offensively bad on the other callers ears and they’ll hang up!
Not sure if same problem with 75t as I’ve just got them,
75t is a touch smaller, and feel better.
The 75t also has a much nicer case, with a magnet click rather than a latch.

  • Anyone got comments on how much background noise is picked up during calls?

IE: WFH and living on a main road, or if in a shared house?

    • These earbuds are never good for phone calls, they pick up lots of background noise, even the ones with decent noise cancelling on the mic.

If you are using it for work, best to get a proper headset designed for Zoom, MS Teams, etc.

      • I completely disagree, they're excellent for phone calls. WFH since the pandemic begun, easily half of the day on Teams and phone calls, never a single complaint from those on the call. I don't have any issues outdoors either. I'm curious what "designed for zoom" means.

          I completely disagree.

Fyi, best headsets for zoom are those with dedicated mic with a strong noise cancelling feature. This will cancel most background noise such as your colleagues talking loudly in the office etc.

          An example. https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/jabra-evolve-65-ms-st…

I get annoyed when people dial in with these earbuds. Only thing that come close to business grade headsets are may be airpod pro or similar.

          • @aveeno bb: You'd have no idea if anyone was using 65t buds on the call, as they simply work well. They don't have to be "best", whatever that means in your mind. Nearly 18 months of use and zero complaints from people attending conference calls is quite enough evidence that these buds are good enough, and more.

Check this yourself. Not perfect. If you need background noise cancelling, for headphone Bose 700 is the best. Will cost significantly more though.

      • Yep I've watched a few reviews and read comments from previous posts where it seems to be 50/50.

I currently use Sony XM3s or wired options but would like a wireless earphone (not headphone) option.

        • Bought a pair, going to return them as there's a constant hissing sound which is quite loud.

  • jabra are no good for phone calls, mic is not great… good SQ for music etc … bt reliability is not good, cuts out every now and then.

ive had 4 pairs of jabras. 75 and 85's. i would skip the 75's and go for the 85's.

i plan on buying them new sony's when a deal comes around.

    • The call quality on the 65ts are excellent. Not sure why you are having so many problems with the more expensive models.

    • I have these and it's the opposite. Sounds quality is… fine. Very neutral with basically no bass. Mic is fine for calls and Teams meetings. Nothing special but good for ear buds.

My left ear bud hisses about 50% of the time and when connected to my laptop i get a noticable drop in sound quality vs my phon, i dont know why.

For $70 they're fine, not a bargain relative to performance imho.

    • 60 dollars of 300 spend at sony store if you have amex

  • Damn that’s pretty cheap for the 75T’s. They’re $161 on the Jabra employee store!

Been the same price at JB ($149) and Officeworks ($148) for about the past two weeks, as I've had my eye on them, while camelx3 shows they've been $148 at Amazon since 1 Jun.

Same story for the 65t's price by the looks of it.

  • If will be wanting to use for phone calls/meetings etc then steer clear.

Poor mic in perfect conditions and essentially unusable outdoors.

Good sound quality for music and good range

  • Can only comment for the 75t, it is shizen for connectivity with my Fenix or Vivoactive.

When I run and connect my 75t for music, I lose connectivity between the two; I end up having to wear my Fenix on my right hand to compensate

  • +1

Each to its own as mentioned above. I've been using 75T, connected to both my iPhone and work laptop simultaneously, using it daily on Teams video calls (primarily on work laptop rather than phone Teams app).
No audio issues for me and also for the other side listening to me (I asked for feedback from them), so far no BT drop out issues from either devices. I find it handy connected to both devices simultaneously.
I use the smallest ear gel so that it's a looser fit so that I can hear myself too when talking (just my personal preference, works for me) therefore I don't use ANC or hear through.
I use the speech EQ preset as I only use for work Teams video calls rather than to listen to music.
I do find it annoying that it's master and slave set up, so if I want to use only one it has to be the right side (no option to only use the left side).

  • i am looking for the end game for voice calls but needs to be buds…

    I wait for prime day!

I have been using 75t for couple of weeks now. It is surprisingly very good for calls. I even attend meeting while taking a stroll in Sydney CBD, people on the call have no trouble hearing me. Of course they can hear some background noise, but it doesn’t overpower my voice. It works perfectly indoors.
