Significant discount for this camera, suspect it may be going EOL (2015 model) as other suppliers have similarly dropped their prices. Have been watching this cam and very tempted to pick it up given the price! RRP $899 according to Panasonic.

It's been EOL since the release of the G85 which has been EOL since the release of the G95.

Still a v good 4k camera. If this is what they are new, I can only imagine what they are worth on gumtree

@SwarleyAUS The GH4 might worth consideration if you prefer to get your own lens. The GH4 was top of the range in the same era of the G7 and has same sensor. Currently on sale $558.40 here
What's the diff? GH4 is weather sealed, G7 not. GH4 offer slightly higher burst rate in C-AF. Longer battery life on the GH4…

Am just another camera enthusiast :-) I have seen a few events photographer/videographer using the GH4 for videos. They are certainly reliable workhorses. I used to have one too, and got many keeper photos on my travels.
GH4 very well known and respected, undoubtedly. From my reading the GH4 has a tighter crop in video mode (4K at least) than the G7 and I don't currently have any m4/3 lenses so leaning more towards the G7. Honestly did not know about the G85/G95 but they are out of my budget (<$500 ideally).
BTW op link is broken so may be sold out. However the twin lens kit link is now working and let me add to cart so you might want to be quick to grab them ;-)
I’m amazed this camera is still selling, 6 years after its release. Sony a6000 had a good run too.
