Hot Star Chicken has finally made it to Hobart! To celebrate Hot Star & Gong Cha are having a promotion where you can get half price on a Gong Cha drink if you buy 1 Original Fried Chicken.
Obviously a free drink would have been better but TAS never gets special treatment (still no Aldi, 7/11, IKEA, Red Rooster or Costco).

For decades they said you were going to get it near Bunnings. Then recently I heard you're getting it near the other Bunnings but that ended up being TGG.
They came close to building a small mall with Big W and speciality stores at Woolworths in Kings Meadows but I think it fell through due to the decline of Big W stores in general. I think their profits have been steadily heading upwards, so who knows if they will reconsider. Best & Less gave up recently in Launceston though.
Best & Less had a lot of trouble with the mall rats flogging everything.
I remember when the first Big W in Tasmania opened in Eastlands back in 2003. That was a big deal…
