I'm trying to buy the Sony Xperia 1 II but can't find it anywhere other than those websites. Do they sell brand new stock? Are they legit? Becextech I found their listing on amazon.com.au.
Anyone Have Experience Buying New Phones from Becextech, Catch.com.au, or Dick Smith/Kogan?

Do you know why they aren't supported anymore?
I heard that some of these websites sell refurbished phones as new ones that's why. It doesn't say new or refurbished on the listing.
Not sure what marketplace is but here: https://www.catch.com.au/product/sony-xperia-1-ii-xq-at52-5g…
That link is just becextech selling on the catch marketplace platform
Marketplace - Leaves warehouse in 5 business days
Sold and delivered by BecexTech™Message seller to confirm phone is brand new not new condition.
I have bought from Becextech twice with adequate results.
But their 86% feedback on Catch probably tells you what you need to know.I would probably look for a different phone.
Becextech, —> run away when see the name doesnt matter on catch, amazon, or earth
Catch.com.au, or Dick Smith/Kogan — > okay as long they are not kogan own branded phoneHad to go through a warranty claim with Dick Smith/ Kogan for a xiaomi phone recently. It took about two-three weeks (remote diagnosis > return label >returned>assesed>fixed>returned to me). Decent communication. Would still have been nice to be able to return it to a store and get an immediate replacement.
My daughter bought an experia about 5 years ago, from becextech. It was a grey import. When it was sent back they claimed water damage, even though it was supposed to have a decent water resistant rating.
Lesson learnt for a young student.Buy it knowing you have zero warranty, and any assistance you get is a bonus
Sony mobile phones are no longer supported by Sony Australia so grey imports are the only phones you will find.
I assume the ads will say refurbished if they are not new.
Is catch selling them or their marketplace?
