Why are there never 0.5 sizes? Vans and Nike seem to never have 11.5 and I never know if i should go for 11 or 12s.

Hey I luckily managed to snag this bargain but I have a question for those of you who have purchased from Surfstitch in the past.
Did they ask you for photo identification (i.e. drivers license) AND a copy of your credit card as an anti-fraud measure.
I have bought a bunch of stuff online before but never have I encountered this. It seems rather sketchy and before sending in my private details I would just like to know is this legit? It seems a bit over the top for a pair of shoes and some socks lmao. I just don't want to have my ID stolen

i'd just use a proof of age card if you have one or can get one made quickly. i'd be more worried about your drivers licence number falling into the wrong hands. CC is easier to replace.

Love these shoes, l had a similar pair in the past and the price was good but I don't want my identity stolen.. I am probably being a little bit paranoid but you really just do not know who your ID might fall into the hands of.
i don't think they'll accept student cards, but you never know. if not drivers licence or proof of age, it's usually passport that's the only other option. in my opinion i wouldn't send them your passport info either.
This seems awfully fishy to me. I’ve never had this with any retailer, and anyone could go crazy with a copy of both your credit card and ID. Are you sure the request isn’t from a spoofed account or something? I’d be calling them on the phone for clarification. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable sending these.
I am positive. If it wasn't actually surfstitch than how would they know I ordered from them?
It does sound very suss indeed but I did something I would not ordinarily do and paid for it via BNPL.
Perhaps that is why either way who the hell is gonna commit fraud over a pair of shoes lol.
