    Look, what more can I do? I clearly state the books are free AT THE TIME OF POSTING as I am not Amazon and I am not the one changing the prices up and down at a whim.
    There has to be some minimal degree of self-responsibility here and with all due respect I do not think it is too much to ask to ask people to take 3 seconds (literally) to see if the one click filed shows $0 or a different price BEFORE clicking.
    I do find it unfair that you neg the deal for something that is 100% your fault. In a way, you make the deal (or me) responsible for your "negligence".
    Maybe to avoid this in the future, either take a bit more time before clicking or disable one click for your purchases so it slows down the transaction for me giving you a chance to correct your mistake when the cart shows.

  Would anyone really want to use Java to write front-end code these days? The book might be free but your time is precious and you'd better spend it elsewhere like on Javascript/Typescript…

  Java is extremely popular and very good skill to have. It’s not for the front end.
