Which Monitor/Screen for Cubo AI Baby Monitor?

I have the Cubo AI baby monitor which is primarily app-driven. I'm looking to set up a monitor/screen that enables a live & constant stream. I've seen that it's compatible with the Echo Show and Google system, but I'm unsure as to whether this will timeout and I'll have to keep asking Alexa to show me the stream.

Does anyone have any experience with turning a monitor/screen/tablet into a constant streaming device for a baby monitor or security cameras please?

Happy to buy a tablet if that is the best option.

    I use Tapo TP LINk cameras, Onvifer - and i have a nice live stream

      Does it stay on all of the time to do constant streaming?

        We use an iPad and our phones to check the live stream. Haven't had it time out on us.

    I'm thinking of doing the same setup but with some sorta el cheapo android tablet. Would be good to know how everyone else is setting theirs up.

    We have the Cubo and tried it out with Google Nest 2nd Gen….laggy, screen freezes….not ideal

    Will be buying a cheap android tablet as dedicated screen.
