Ryobi Shrub Shearer Electric - Any Recommendations?

I have a lot of small hedges. I have a full blown hedge trimmer but it's just too big and inconvenient for small patches.

Has anybody tried this or got alternatives as the only single review says it's noisy af. I find the Ryobi full size trimmer noisy anyway so not sure what this bloke is on about.

    • Sorry forgot to say needs to be cordless. Garden is a bit of a maze.

  • Bought the skin version and then returned.

The blade gaps for the trimmer was too small for my shrubs, such that I simply got a good pair of hedge scissors and that was infinitely better for my use.

Bunnings accepted the return without issue so no harm in trying

    Laser hair removal :)

  • Been using it for the last 2 years for our hedges, plus trimming the pencil pines after the annual chainsaw massacre.

It works a treat, and much easier on arthritic wrists than the bigger one that we had.

  • i have this, i haven't had much trouble trimming a jasmine hedge and grass shears are really easy to use around other plants, tress and in awkward corners
