If your older phone is need of some new protection, Telstra Plus has a variety of cases for 1000pts each. This seems to be one of the best value ways to spend your hard earned points since some of them still retail for $50+. Telstra have done promos like these before, but they were limited to the silicone cases for the Samsung S20 line only. This time both iPhones and Samsungs are included.

    Perfect timing, just ordered an X for my daughter, definitely need a case!

    Can strongly recommend otterbox cases, been using them for 10+ years and havent had a cracked screen since I changed over. I work under cars and on heavy machinery for added context.

    Not associated with them in any way either.

          Which is why they're 1000 points, not enough interest from customers to buy/redeem at the regular amount.

          There's plenty of people still using older phones though. Mine is almost 2 years old, no reason to upgrade honestly, and it's the same with other family members. So we all benefit from this deal!

            @jwh: Exactly, I have an iPhone 7 and no problem with that for my purposes. However at some point I upgrade to an X. Everyones choice but I don't need to spend trillions to have the latest phone.

    Bought all one of each of the X and XS ones that weren’t max. So a total of 4. With my dad’s account who doesn’t use points and there was only 6000 to begin with

    I have an Otterbox Defender for my Note 10+ - fantastic case. Not only is it 3 layers of additional protection, but despite being such a proverbial thicc boi is still manages to have a visually pleasing design.

    Biggest complaints - this is one BIG CASE. Probably added an extra inch to the width of my phone, and it became less comfortable to hold in one hand. It also doesn't have any actual screen protection, so your phone is still vulnerable to impact from the front, which might be more likely if it's clipped to your belt on the job.

    Mine arrived today as well, as bad as Telstra can be at times, their shipping is always spot on…their tracking on the other hand not so great, got the "here are your next steps" email after I got them delivered lol

    Received my cases, the defender is in perfect nick.
    The symmetry is new; but due to its age is yellowed out of the box; so that's disappointing; they're basically free so I can't complain.
