  • What's 1kg in meters?

    • 1.75mm is around 340m

Made an order then a few hours later the seller cancelled it… no reason given

    • It was an ebay system error, they’re back in stock if you want to buy

This filament isn't great, I've thrown out rolls

Thanks. What’s your preferred brand for pla and petg?

      • +4

ESun is my go to for inexpensive filament, though price and availability are suffering at the moment.

For Aussie made product, I have had great results with a number of different Aurarum filaments. Price is comparing favourably now that it's getting harder to source overseas product

        • Thanks. I did buy a few rolls of esun recently and has been good so far, but I’m still new to 3D printing so can’t tell what’s good or bad yet. I also bought some prusament with my printer, so I will try your other recommendations when I finally use these up.

          • +1

@Mr Simple: I find Prusament to be an excellent filament - you can see the quality just with the precise winding (no more snags). But very expensive once landed here in Aus. Just didn't see enough of a difference to justify the cost over buying ESun

You'll definitely get better at telling what is good and bad as you gain more failures experience. My box of failures is bigger than my box of successes.

        I've used 3DFillies a lot and they're great.

  • I also received a refund shortly after ordering.

One of my mates uses pla plus instead of straight pla. While there are a few trade-offs, it's a great alternative. Significantly less brittle and the layer cohesion looks better too.

    • +1 for PLA+ from eSun.

  • Haha they canceled
    I bought white, sorry guys

      Ps. Order wasnt canceled
      Ebay’s payment systm malfunctioned
Looks like they added more stock just buy/pay again

Did you know it's cheaper to order from flashforge website and pay in CAD? For example black PLA costs $17.99 CAD (change curreny top right) = 19.23 AUD + 4% currency fee = $20 AUD

And postage $37 CAD.. for 2 rolls

    • That website is being flagged as a scammer site?

  • EDIT: Wrong section
