My payment kept getting rejected by the seller. But the gift cards are completely valid, I bought them from Shopback and they are charged through my credit card.
They show up on my ebay account when I enter them.
Can sellers reject gift cards?
Anyone else ran into this type of issue before?

Yes that what it entered. Ebay locks it into their system, and the amounts are all correct.
Or you are buying items that does not accept giftcards. Test it on another item.

still stuck on pending. I spoke to ebay, and they just told me "refresh" the browser….
ive come accross similar using gift card soley as payment before and only using paypal after redeeming gift cards has successfully completed transaction, so id agree with below its most likely an ebay issue

FYI I use a combination of 2 gift cards and paypal. Its pending payment for 3 hours then my paypal was refunded (I'd assume the gift cards too because I could use the gift cards again with the full amount, to pay)
The gift cards are completely new.
Nothing to do with Shopback eBay is full of glitches. I'm still waiting on "automated" refunds for 16 gift cards (happened twice) totalling over $500 after purchases ending up not going through.
You only enter PIN that starts with 0, not card numbers.
