I am looking for watch enthusiasts who can advise me which watch to pick for wifey. It has came down with two options:
Why only these two watches? I can claim this from work reward program, so it's a win for me.

Unfortunately they're both Chinese Crap with questionable waterproofing.
Honestly the cost to make them is about $5, just look through Aliexpress.
They were made to fill the fad of minimalist design. Anyone into watches would steer clear of these.
Although if it is for the wifey then go for it as she probably will just go for looks.
If it were me i'd save my money.
Get a Seiko or Tissot for a similar price or lash out and get a Tag Heuer, Omega or Rolex, more engineering and functionality than an engagement ring.
As a watch enthusiast and collector, I wouldn't recommend you throw your money away on either.
Buy her a Seiko from the Presage Cocktail range. For similar or slightly more money, you get an automatic with a fairly bullet proof Seiko movement. They're also some of the best dials you'll find in any watch under $1k.
