Roborock S6 Pure or S7?

Hi all. Sorry to ask but am after some advice on robovacs.
We want a vacuum and mop, that's good for cat fluff and will be good for their random litter that's on the ground.
We have tiles, rugs and carpet.
What would you recommend? The roborock s6 pure or s7?
From what I've seen, s7 is better for mopping as it has the rubber.
Thanks in advance!

I've got the S7 and honestly, its the best thing since sliced bread.

My wife is also so happy that she has been telling all her friends to buy it. First time ever that she's been happy with me spending $1k on technology gadgets.

One thing to keep in mind - the S7 mop goes up a little bit when it is on carpet. However, if you have thick pile carpets; it does not go up enough - you are better off programming it to avoid carpeted areas and set up a schedule to only vacuum that area on a different program (when the mop attachment is not attached)

It just works. It mapped our whole house accurately on the first go itself. It has not got stuck on any of our furniture or weird things. It has gobbled up a few things like nerf gun bullets and did get stuck once on a piece of paper; but other than that; it just goes about the house doing its job with out requiring any supervision.

It has saved us easily 2 hours a day in housework. We feel we need to do a manual top up clean at some point, especially the corners; but its vacuuming has been so good that we havent done the top up clean yet.

I never had the S6; so can't compare to that - but went off a lot of the reviews online that compared the different version. If not the S7; I would have gone the S5max instead of the S6.

You spend 2 hours mopping and vacuuming a day?

          • @Drakesy: Yes, vacuuming whole house first takes about 40 minutes - got to get into all the corners and under cupboards and things. And do it all over again with a mop.

              @MrHyde: every
              day?

@Drakesy: Yes, my wife and i took turns to do it every other day. When we were in an apartment; it didn't take this long. But now in a house with more than double the floorspace than our apartment - plus have no idea where all this dust comes from. :(

Anyway, with the S7; we don't need to do that anymore.

I have the S6 pure and it works a charm too. Can’t comment for the S7

I bought it from roborock.com.au as part of their launch deal. Have not seen it anywhere else yet. Maybe try AliExpress, but at that price, I am happy to pay more for local warranty.

Roborock did send out $50 vouchers that people can give out to family and friends. DM me and I can see if I can find it in my trash folder.
