Deliveroo - Restaurant Has Items Listed for $0

Hi,

I am new to the food delivery places.

I am looking at a page.

There is a section called 'Japanese Curry' and it shows 'Curry and Rice' at $0.00 (but also shows Pork and Chicken Katsu Curry with prices).

What does this mean? You can add as many you like, and it won't change the cost? When you select it, there is no series of buttons that results in additional costs (e.g. Meat +$x).

It is nice to get extra curry and rice. Maybe they restrict it so you can only have one 'Extra' per 'Paid' curry? (or, maybe that is at least what they would like to do, even though the website does not enforce that)

    The most likely solution is that someone entered the wrong values when putting in all the menu prices.

    I'm sure if you advised the restaurant you'd see an actual price appear corrected pretty soon.

    Can you Google restaurant name to lookup their phone number so you can call and ask?

    Zero price sometimes means not available - they keep the item on the menu but system does not allow them to say not currently available. Best to contact them to check. Otherwise why not try adding one?

    lol, I made an order and then got call from deliveroo support saying that the prices were $0 and I felt charitable and let them remove it from the order.

    They better give me a reasonable amount of curry and rice on the two paid curries.

    They know it's $0 now, and have taken it off.

        They gave me one free curry and rice with two paid curries.

        A good deal for an honest mistake, and the paid stuff was 50% off (though, not sure if I would ever pay the full price of $25.30 for a chicken or pork katsu).

        I must have been the first to order it, and they pull it from the menu.

          Yes common for places to correct these mistakes as soon as someone orders them!
