Advice on High End Gaming Laptop Please

Hey guys!

So this is asking for a friend. His budget is $3500-4000 and wanting a high end laptop. He needs a laptop and not a pc and wants it to be a 17".

We're leaning toward some of the g7 laptops, but have read about people suggesting to wait until they upgrade their screen.

I'm not sure if he's planning ok 4k, or high refresh 1440. Probably that as he does play around lot of fps, so would benefit from the high refresh.

  Second this. Either the Strix G15 for a higher TPD GPU or the zephyrus G15 for that sweet sweet look
