It's crazy massive world to explore and the main story is amazing. Definitely recommend the game! Got it for $30 deal :)

I started playing this one but I was over it after around twenty hours. It's a good JRPG though and I'm the same with just about every JRPG I've ever played.

Yeah for me personally this game felt very overrated. The music is excellent and the visual style is gorgeous, but there was so much needless padding that it put me off JRPG's altogether. Forced myself to invest 65 hours in order to beat the campaign in hopes it would change my opinion but it was ultimately a wasted effort.
I'm obviously in the minority when it comes to this opinion. Glad other people can enjoy this game
I can speak to the game and it is one of the best jrpgs of all time and the best of that generation
Is it me? I found some of the detail in the game too tiny on my switch…i sold it off after few hours of playing

Best game on Switch. Excellent story, great (if underdeveloped) characters, amazing OST, fun unique gameplay, awesome world and a brilliant English dub, too
I've played it but never finished it, it was a story you really soak into…i'd barely dipped my feet in, good game but prepare to have time to invest.
Traded this in for 51 by stacking EB world and birthday bonus last week, definitely came out on top on that one.
Not even one of the best JRPGs, but just one of the best games full stop in recent years. Loved the original Wii version, and this remaster just made it even more enjoyable.
Gorgeous JRPG with a gripping story, impeccable OST, and very fun combat. Can't recommend it enough.

I'm a long time RPG (all types) player. This is true a masterpiece. Complex, but not exhaustingly so. A unique story like no other. Combat is dynamic with new stuff being slowly unlocked even 20+ hours in, giving a sense of achievement while never getting stale. Fights and bosses are a perfect challenge; not too hard, not too easy. OST is top class…perhaps best of any game I've played. Layers of meaningful and useful collectables (FF level on steroids).
