I agree. $1600 for a xx70 series and it's selling out immediately. This is why I'm still using a rx460 - because I can't justify spending $400+ to upgrade to a better budget used card.
I still dont understand this, I bought a dell XPS with 3070 a month ago for $2K why are prices this high for the video cards?

Slower than a RX6800 with 16GB’s of memory.
The TI editions only benefit on 1080p and 1440p, if you've got a 4k monitor, don't expect any changes, as the cuda cores are what's more necessary there.
Games have a reasonable difference between each other in FPS, please watch a test video or two, as it may list the performance increase for some of your preferred games.
TI is for Nvidia to rip you off - they give you same card with small adjustments and charge you 50-100% extra because they can and know you will just buy it - hell I don't even blame them - why let scalpers make all the money right

I read this morning it mines at around 37MH. My 1080Ti on 'high' setting mines at ~43MH

Yes but people are buying up all the better cards for mining, so this is the top gaming card available for all intents.

If Nvidia were screwing people over, then a competitor would be able to swoop in and undercut them. The problem is not Nvidia, it is massive inflation caused by Joe Biden signing Trillion Dollar stimulus bills and Jerome Powell printing all the money to pay for it.

Sold my one year old 2070s for $1k at $300 profit and that funded my 3080.
Much needed the power of the 3080 ever since using a 4K monitor, otherwise the 2070s is pretty good for 1440p and below.
SMH people spending this much money on an 8gb card.
