A big G'day and Kia ora to Funimation Australia/New Zealand! We’re thrilled to share the news today that AnimeLab will soon become Funimation!
With exclusive benefits to being a part of the global Funimation family, plus the same local team you know and love, your world of anime is about to get a whole lot bigger.
From June 17, you can log into Funimation using just your current AnimeLab details and try it out! We know you’ll love all the features, like more hours of anime, up to 5 screens at once, exclusive content, download to go, brand new apps on PS5 and Nintendo Switch and access to huge events with our global community.
We’d love to tell you all our secrets right now but shhh… there are a few more coming in the next few weeks. Until then, sit back and relax – we’ve got you.
Our world is yours… down under!"
My comment:
I have been thinking of jumping ship to Crunchyroll but I would love to hear your experience with Funimation.
My reason of jumping ship is mainly to do the fact some shows are forced English Dub for example Black Clover whilst I could get the Japanese Dub in Crunchyroll.
Gamers! is also another example of forced English Dub vs a choice of English/Japanese Dub in Crunchyroll.
Yes it is more expensive but I am an anime fan anyway.
Thanks
Zz
I thought Fumination acquired Crunchyroll? So eventually the two may merge into one anyway.
