Now, after the very successful launch period EA has decided to make Knockout City free up to a level cap of 25. Only after that you will have to buy an upgrade to the full game.
To be clear, the original plan was to charge everyone after the launch period, but now the game has gone from paid to free for progression up to level 25.
Additional info from the site:
- it takes about 5 hours to reach level 25
- you will be able to keep playing matches but you will not unlock any further Street Ranks and their accompanying rewards, which include cosmetic items to customize your character, XP boosts, and Holobux to spend at the in-game cash shop.
